Using the guides and tools
Bizsproutiq's guides and tools cost nothing to use when you plan your own website. They explain official sources in plain terms but are not legal, tax or financial advice, and you remain responsible for decisions about your business. The tools give results from the figures and answers you enter.
You may print or save pages and tool results for your own use. Please do not republish the guides as your own.
Paid services
Planning sessions, written plans and website builds are offered to businesses, including sole traders acting for their business. Each is described on its own page, and the pricing page lists the prices. VAT is charged where it applies; quotes and invoices show it.
Planning sessions and written plans
Payment is due before the call. You can move a session to another date by giving at least two working days' notice. If you cancel with at least two working days' notice, the fee is refunded. With less notice, the fee is not refunded unless we agree otherwise.
The written summary or plan is yours to use as you wish, including with other builders.
Website builds
A build is carried out under a written quote that sets out the pages, features, content responsibilities, payment stages and price. The price is fixed when you accept the quote in writing. A 40 percent deposit is due on acceptance and the balance at launch. Invoices are payable within 14 days.
Changes to the agreed scope are agreed in writing before work on them begins, and priced either as a fixed sum or at the day rate on the pricing page.
You are responsible for having the right to use any content you supply, including words, photos and logos, and for the accuracy of facts about your business.
Ownership
Once a build is paid for in full, you own the site's content and design created for you. Third party software, fonts, themes and services used in the site remain under their own licences and terms.
Accounts and services you pay for directly
Domain names, hosting, email and other services are bought in your business's name and paid to their providers, unless a quote says otherwise. Their terms apply between you and them.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability for a paid service is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Governing law for Bizsproutiq services
English and Welsh law governs these terms, and any dispute about them belongs in the courts of England and Wales.
