Who it suits
The session suits a business owner who has started thinking about a website but wants to talk the decisions through: which pages, which features, what to leave out, and how to budget. It also suits someone replacing an old site who is unsure what to keep.
If you are happy working alone, the free planner, feature selector and budget estimator cover the same questions without a call.
What happens
- You book by email and receive a short questionnaire. Answering it is optional, but it lets the call start with your business rather than with background questions.
- On the call, we go through the five planning steps in order: the job the site has to do, who it is for, the pages, the features and the budget.
- After the call you receive a written summary: the goal, the audience, the agreed page list, the features sorted into now, later and not needed, and the budget approach.

What the session does not include
The session does not include design, writing your content, building the site or choosing a supplier for you. It does not include legal, tax or data protection advice; where a rule applies, the summary points to the official guidance and suggests you check it with an adviser.
Before you book
You will be asked for a little information to arrange the call, such as your name, email address and business name. The privacy notice explains how it is used. Payment is due before the call; the terms cover moving or cancelling a session.
How this relates to builds
Booking a session does not commit you to anything further, and the note at the foot of the page explains who offers builds. The plan is written so that any builder can quote from it, and you are free to take it elsewhere.
Asking about a session
Use the contact page and choose "Planning session" as the topic. Mention the type of business and whether you already have a site.
